Thanks Murray, I think I forgot to hit 'modify' when I did the last update. Oops.
Will fix right now.

Ed, good additions. Those Collared-Doves are something else. When out in Ladner recently I came across several at 96th St. Rock Doves are not as frequent I think too.

Adding Wetlander's Surf Scoters and a Virgina Rail I had at Cheam Lake this afternoon. A good month of birds!
Also, anyone seen a Coot? Im sure they'll be a few at Sardis Pond.

Great photo! I like the colour of the water. Compliments the coot nicely who is also posing nicely.
Ill join the club on the Coots as I saw six at Cheam Lake yesterday too.

Alright! A new record month beating May's count of 155 by two! I checked Butterfly on my Shoulder's website and saw that they got a Barrow's Goldeneye nicely photographed.
One miss I see is Brown-headed Cowbird. In my experience they seem to reduce in numbers towards the end of Summer. I think I saw my last one sometime in August. I also seem to remember some members mentioning they have seen less this year too. That being said, did anyone see one?
An even bigger miss is Marsh Wren. This is another species I did not see a lot of this summer especially towards the end.

Gord, you can add Marsh Wren for September. When I was at Willband on Sept 29 focussing on dragonflies (I thought it might be the last warm day of the season) I heard several Marsh Wrens, but never paid attention to them. I wasn't thinking about the monthly bird list on that day.
I also saw a blackbird-type bird fly and my first reaction was cowbird, but I was squinting into the sun and am not at all sure what it was. I wouldn't count it.
