The Wilson's Warbler is a nice early August find! Nice work! Love the photos of the Red-eyed Vireos too in your Journal.

I have Solitary Sandpiper, Warbling Vireo and Olive-sided Flycatcher to add. *edit* as I was updating, saw a few others I added that I did not mention.

Dave, can we add the Eurasian Collared-Dove for July too? Any young ones? Good to hear they are still about.

Oops Yes, Eurasian-collared Dove should be on the July List. I completely overlooked it! No young that I have seen, just 2 that love the power lines.

Blue-winged Teal (with two pre-flight young) so presumably a local nester.

Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs. Also one on the last day of July.

Murray, where did you get the Yellowlegs? Great find!

I had a Western Sandpiper and Least Sandpiper yesterday in the little wet part of that field that was so good this spring. There is barely any water in it, but one of each were using it among about eight Killdeer.

Will update the list on my next 'sit down'!

Gord, both Yellowleg species were on the north bank of the Fraser at the east edge of Hopyard Hill.
There is a little wet area that attracts shorebirds just a few meters from the dyke.

My buddy Fred, the Am. Dipper is back working the beach in Harrison. He(?) hangs out along Rendall Beach and the Art Gallery in the Spring, then returns when the water levels drop.

I was out watching the meteor shower and had a Barn Owl fly past and make that horrid screech.

From Cheam Lake that I can add is Winter Wren and Marsh Wren.

And again at home a young Savannah Sparrow made me check him over closely.
