The Bullock's Orioles seemed to get pretty quiet earlier than usual this summer. At least Im not running into them much lately. Good find!

I keep forgetting... Brewer's Blackbirds are always on the beach in Harrison. Plus today, there was an female Am. Widgeon in the Lagoon hanging out with a female mallard.

Hello birders,
I have couple to add to the August list-there are still a couple of Kestrels hanging around Nicomen Island and I have been hearing a Great Horned Owl in Harrison Mills.
Cheers, Brent Schmor Harrison Mills

Brent, saw a Kestrel on Sumas Central today as well. I bet there must be a second breeding pair in the area. The ones in Nicomen Slough successfully bred again this year. I always see them further along near Deroche as well. Good records.
I also had a juvenile Northern Harrier fly over the field this evening while I was working in the yard.

Missed Thor's Hermit Thrush from Manning and also forgot to mention the two Ruffed Grouse I saw on the FSR on the way to Cheam today. Sooty Grouse was overlooked too but is there now.

Some other additions that have not been mentioned are the Merlin I saw chasing sparrows past my house and an American Bittern Bill saw at Cheam Lake recently.
