September is one of the best months for birding with fall migration in full-swing. What makes this a good month to get lots of species is that many of the warbler and vireo species are still being seen as well as migrant sparrows and shorebirds continue to arrive. Harrison Lake is a super place to see migrants so is Island 22 . There's lots of birds moving south so any of your favourite sites are worth visiting.
