Rufous Hummingbird - two of them along Fraser River - near Page Road, Abbotsford And I flushed a Wilson’s Snipe - that surprised me

This is not a clear pic since the swans were so far away… when I got home to look at the pics, this one swan stood out to me because of the larger amount of yellow spot in front of it’s eye… is this a more rare subspecies “Bewick’s Swan”? Untitled by Gabi Cuff, on Flickr

Short-eared owl March 13 near Page Road - flew overhead and then seen hunting in the fields… too far away for a picture and fun to see.

In the heat of the day, I hung around the Osprey nest and pleasantly surprised to see three chicks in the nest… perhaps that has been reported already? Not sure how they manage in all that direct sun all day…. Three Osprey chicks! by Gabi Cuff, on Flickr

That is not likely - it was very large - very high up in the air and I was up the mountain…. It was calling and that is what had me look up….?
