As notorious as sparrows for not being able to ID....here is a Flycatcher, also at Writing on Stone Provincial Park in southeastern Alberta. These guys were hanging out in the willows and other trees right within the very well shaded and watered campsite and not far from the Milk River that flowed just behind the campsite. They stayed sort of mid range in the canopy...not really high up and not right down on the ground either. Kathy

Hi Kathy! Nice shot! Tough to say at the best of times. I guess it wouldnt vocalize for you? Based on range and appearance (dark tipped beak) maybe least flycatcher?
