While checking out my area for the CBC Dian and I came across a Yellow-rumped Warbler off of Page Rd. on the dyke. It was cavorting with miscellaneous sparrows in a horse pasture. It had me confused for a bit as there were some white feathers in its' tail. When it flew I saw the yellow rump. Sharp-shinned, Coopers, Winter Wren were other birds seen. It will be a challenge counting all those ducks, crows, gulls, geese, swans and Starlings on count day. The area is a magnet for them.
See you in the field Len Jellicoe Abbotsford, BC Canada
