Lee and I were on are way to show the Harris's Sparrow (HASP)to Kathy Wilkinson and Steve Howard. We were just about to the north end of Prest Road when I spotted the pale brown Prairie Falcon (PRFA) on the wire just above me. I puled over as soon as I could find a spot. I grabbed my bins as I jumped out of the car. But he had already flown of towards Banford Road. Steve had watched it fly away. This was at 12:50pm today. By the way the HASP was still at the Kitchen Road site. What a great start to the new year PRFA and HASP within half an hour. Happy New year!!

Great sighting, Denis! I might have a few moments tomorrow to check around for the bird. I did see a Peregrine today coming home along with probably the same Rough-legged Hawk that Ben reported. Lots of gulls but nothing unique among them
