Hi everyone. This morning on the Sucker Creek Trail in Hope, Pauline and I flushed a Wilson's Snipe that was hiding along the margins of the trail. Just as I was thinking why it would skulk on the more open part the marsh; ( for humans ), a Northern Harrier made a pass at it. Luckily, for the snipe, it got away. Always interesting to witness the dynamics of bird behaviour, especially watching a raptor that normally goes after rodents, trying for a bird, that I haven't seen in Hope before. Cheers, Thor
