More in the Local Report section but yesterday there was a non-breeding plumaged adult Clay-coloured Sparrow at the boat launch at Harrsion Hot Springs.
There were at least eight Vesper Sparrows around the launch parking lot as well.
Today, in addition to about five Vesper Sparrows, there was a Brewer's Sparrow. Also there were three Chipping Sparrows today (one yesterday) giving a hat-trick of the Spizella genus sparrows in two days!
The place is sure hopping!

Well done Gord. Great fallout for sparrows.
Harrison is a great place for sparrows during migration. It gets lots of Vespers and Chipping and a few records of Clay-colored, Lark, Brewer's and American Tree.
