Between 5:00 and 5:15 p.m. today the Flycatcher was actively feeding along the slough on Whorley Rd. It appeared to be feeding primarily on Damselflies. Unlike yesterday when Jason and I so no sign of any birds, today the joint was really jumping with migrants in all the bushes and trees. Because of the extremely rusty [almost red] tail and partial wing feathers this bird really stood out and is almost certainly a juvenile. When last seen it was 130 meters west of the intersection of Whorley and Tuyttens roads flycatching from the blackberry bushes.

Thanks for the heads up... Decided to check again last night because of your posting, and ran into my neighbour Bona, and then Brent from Abbotsford. No sighting for us, but Brent saw it later.

Thanks for keeping us posted, Kevin. I may try for the flycatcher tomorrow between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m depending on my homework status. Jeff
