Rick Toochin forwarded some info to me about a major fallout at Hope Airport today! He saw the following: 20-30 Lazuli Buntings 2 Indigo Buntings 1 Brewer's Sparrow 1 Lark Sparrow 1 Vesper Sparrow 1 Chipping Sparrow 1 Chestnut-collared Longspur 2 Bobolink Most of these were at Jack Delair's place, except I think the Bobolink and Brewer's Sparrows were along the airport side. Sorry for the delay in sharing, I just have had a very busy day. I thought some of you may wish to have an early start tomorrow in the area if some of these birds may still be around. Here are some pictures from Rick. Male Bobolink Brewer's Sparrow Indigo Bunting Vesper and Chipping Sparrows Quite the day out there and I was at my desk most of the day!! Dave

Dave, thanks for passing it along. Was there this morning and had Brewer's Sparrow and a male Indigo Bunting. I was thinking it might be a hybrid like the one that has been seen at North Bend but I am very confident that it is indeed a male Indigo Bunting. Great record for the valley.
