Another quick jog out to the wetlands showed different birds than last night. More Western Tanagers (5+) were visible, as well as a Green Heron on a log in front of Bill's house. One Western Tanager was doing a great job of feeding a young Brown-headed Cowbird. Duck numbers are increasing and getting closer to triple digits, although the mighty Mallard is still dominate. Warbling Vireo, Wilson's Warbler, Downy Woodpecker added variety, and Eastern Kingbird, Willow Fly., Western Wood-Pewee, Cedar Waxwings, etc are still easy to find. The Osprey was active as well. One Pied-billed Grebe had 2 young with it. I had about 25 species again, in a short amount of time.
