Janna Maljaars discovered a Black-necked Stilt at the corner of Chilliwack Central and Upper Prairie Road this morning.
It is there right now!

Wow, awesome sighting. Third valley record too. John Vooys had one in 2001 and Gord spotted the 2 in 2011.
I am going to check if it is still there in the afternoon and try to get some photos. Fantastic bird.

As of 1:10 it was still present. Tried for pictures but when I was there it was too far out.
