Hi to you all: Two Saturdays ago I went snowshoeing with an elderly friend. There weren't a lot of bird species spotted/heard on our way up. We did manage to hear a Stellar Jay, hear and see a handful of Common Ravens, see several Chestnut-backed Chickadees, and about 4 Grey Jays which we fed at the Bowen Island Lookout. What I found so interesting is how the 'raven in the tree' photos turned out. Look especially at the tree vs the raven . The sky was quite bright. I had my camera set on Program which means that Aperture and Shutter speed were set to Auto, while I adjusted the ISO. I threw the last picture in the mix also for comparison.
