There was a Snowy Owl on Angus Campbell in Sumas Prairie on the west side in the corn field. I got pictures which I will post later.
There was also a Swamp Sparrow at Willband. It was close to Bateman Rd. If you start at the other end, not the parking lot end, and as soon as you get to the water, maybe 40 metres, that is where it is. I got video of it calling which I post later.

Here is the Snowy Owl. I was lucky because I saw two crows fly by and then dive bombed something white. Turned out to be a Snowy Owl Swamp Sparrow video. I heard a different call note as I was walking. My instinct told me Swamp Sparrow and I was correct. It took me about 15-20 minutes to confirm it. I saw it briefly but got his call notes on video. Poor video but better than nothing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGaxW30_n6w&feature=youtu.beIn case my directions were not clear, here is a map to where it was. goo.gl/maps/X2pkhAlso on Marion Rd, was a Gyrfalcon. Must be the same one Dave saw a few days ago. This one is different than the one I saw in December. Notice the wingtips do not touch the end of the tail feathers. A Peregrine's wingtips will reach the end of the tail feathers.

Great finds Chris! Perseverance and luck go hand in hand! Dive bombing crows usually turn up a discarded McDonalds bag for me!

Nice work Chris, definitely jealous of both the swamp sparrow and the gyrfalcon!
