This afternoon at Eagle Point Community Park in Harrison Mills I heard some call notes of a bird I was not able to convince myself what it was. Turned out to be a female MacGillvray's Warbler. The last one I've seen/heard was over two months ago on September 10. This is easily the latest Ive ever seen one and I dont think I've heard of too many of this species being encountered this late. True to its nature (Dave Beeke can relate well to this too) it was sulky and did not show itself very well for a picture. Plenty of eagles about. This one has a full crop
