There are two AMTS at Harrison lagoon on the west side. I got pictures of both of them which I will post when I get home.

Here are a few pictures of the birds. They were on the west side of the lagoon. They were pretty tame and a few people ran by and they didn't move. Hopefully they stay for a while. That's at least four individuals in the last three days for our region.

Just an update since I was there again today. I didn't see the birds today. Yesterday, I only saw them once on my way back so they definitely could return.
Dave, there is also the possibility of seeing one at Iona. A few seem to over winter there.

Thanks Chris...took the g-kids to Harrison for a drive yesterday but saw nothing. Time for a trip to Iona and Boundary after all the good stuf that Len saw....DaveP

Nice I was going to post this, but when I opened the website, I was glad to see it already posted as mine would have been late. They were there yesterday. Morning 11:00 - till noon when I left, on the outside of the Lagoon breakwater along with a couple of Bonaparte gulls in the Lagoon.
Will try yo get a report done tonight, hopefully with some pics.
