I decided to head out to Colony Farm today. I had never been there before and I was feeling out of the loop with everyone seeing Lazulis and I had never seen one.
I spent about 3 hours this morning there and there was lots of activity. I found a couple Lazulis almost right away and then another on my walk back. Other lifers for me were warbling vireos, which I found a number of, and Vaux's swifts. No indigo bunting, which was banded there yesterday, but I'm in no position to complain!!
I didn't take too many pics but here's a decent Cedar Waxwing picture:
Also, I was hoping for some ID help with the following bird. It was sparrow-sized, very drab, with a slightly yellowish blush on its neck. Quite greyish on its back. Probably something easy and I'll be embarrassed when I'm told what it is! Sorry the pics aren't great:
Here's my complete list, 38 species in total:
Canada Goose 4
Wood Duck 1
Hooded Merganser 4
Ring-necked Pheasant 1
