Hi Fraser Valley Birders: Despite the cool temps, today seemed a more typical Spring day at the Hope Airport birding-wise. White crowned Sparrows seem well established, and are the prominent bird song, besides the American Robin. The Brewer's Blackbirds are back establishing their usual breeding territory around the Interfor Property. The mixed swallow flock has increased in size, and is now feeding over the airport grasslands, as well as Bristol Slough. A pair of Bald Eagles were engaged in some kind of aerial display; fighting/playing/mating? Cheers, Thor
