Fellow Birders,
With the beautiful weather and a baby due to arrive tomorrow, I couldn't resist going for a walk in the wetlands again. Of interest was a lack of ducks, as well as a Northern Rough-winged Swallow in the mix of swallows. I don't remember ever seeing one this early. Anyone have better records? I also saw a Brown Creeper, which I haven't seen there for awhile. There are lots of Purple Finches around again.

Good work on the Rough-winged! The earliest I have on record is April 6, also at Cheam Lake.

Everything on the lake seems paired up today.
