Can anyone recommend a campground in or near Hope? We want to do some exploring this weekend and the Manning campgrounds aren't open yet.
Any suggestions appreciated!

There's one on the way to Othello Tunnels (Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park) just before the new"Rambo" bridge. We drove by it today when we went hiking and it appeared to be open. I believe it is called Coquihalla Campground.

Bryan one suggestion I have is Emory Creek Provincial Park. It's about 15 minutes north of Hope along the Fraser Canyon. It's a fairly 'birdy' area but I have only been there twice.
One area I would think about going is Boston Bar/North Bend. It's about an hour drive from Hope. I have had great success with birds in that region but I have not been up there this time of year.
Any more questions let us know.

I was at Emory Creek last week and it was open and very well kept....one negative maybe that it is very close to two train lines.....DaveP

We have camped at Emory Creek before. A nice place. Along the river. Recommended.

Hi Janet and Bryan-
If you are looking for a campground right in downtown Hope, there is the Telte Yet Campground between Water Street and the Fraser River.
