hello birders
this morning there was a savannah sparrow on banford rd. between mcguire and prairie central. also, on banford, just south of mcguire, were 2 american kestrels; 1 male and 1 female. in our yard, there are now 18 band-tailed pigeons, a red-breasted sapsucker, 1 rufous hummingbird and 15 or so violet-green swallows flying over head, what a difference a day makes as the birds migrate north.
