There is one rosy finch at the east side of the lagoon mixed in with a few juncos. The weather is nasty out here. The bird should be remain here though because of the weather. I did get pictures which I will post when I get home.

I can't recall walking around the lagoon to worse weather than I had this morning. The wind was intense and the hail/snow was hitting me in the face. Towards the end of my walk I spotted a larger bird fly with a few Juncos. Turned out to be a GC Rosy Finch. I wonder where he came from? I took a few pics.

Good find Chris. I was wondering if we would see any this winter. It is still winter isn't it?

Chris thats great, glad you were rewarded for venturing out in that awful weather.
Great job on getting a shot too, I was out there last week and it was bitterly cold, night and day from the 12 C in the afternoon.
Boy the weather is sure unsettled this spring / late winter.
