Wow, Thanks so much for the pictures, if really helps. I hope I get a chance to see it. Was going to take my girls birding on Sunday. Will have to see how the snow is.

Gord nice sighting. There has to be at least three Gyrfalcons in our area. Last year I think we had four at one point. Very good numbers.

Great find Gord. In over four years of scanning the raptors in the Agassiz area, I've only seen one Gyr.
You make it seem so easy!

Wow Gord, great sighting. I've never seen a gyr before - they were remarkably uncommon around Saskatoon. I'm excited about the possibility of seeing one out here at some point though.

I think I saw that bird, or one with identical plumage, perched in the big redwood in front of Evans Elementary on Evans Rd. about a month ago. Thanks for the pics.
