Well I had thought I fixed my internet issues but looks like my wireless network adapter crapped out now. So I'm stuck enetering my report from my phone and trust me its alot harder to type and navigate. Anyway headed out to Boundary Bay on Saturday to try to find the snowy. Arrived early and walked the dyke. If you like dykes Richmond is a great place to go, got all the way to about 88th and no owls. Lots of ducks, (pintals, E wigieons, teals, ) thousands anyway a few sparrows, harriers, brandts, dowitchers, grtr yellowlegs and sanderlings. On the way back spotted the nowy at 96th out on a log. Quite a ways out but was able to get a record shot. I was ecstatic like a kid in a candy store or should I say now a kid with a new iPhone. Got back to the truck a decided to go to 76 the, as I got out the truck a couple of short ears flew over, they would not be the last saw atleast 6. Talking to a fellow birder they said there were 3 snowys out there, wow. Well grabbed my camera and headed off. By the enzd of the day I saw 4 more ;D ;D

There were Snowies out there today (Tuesday) as well, but by the time I got there - too much wind and rain. 76th east along the dike. I heard someone say 10 birds. Saw some great shots taken. One person said they (Snowies) killed a Short-eared.
