Murray saw a Common Yellowthroat today at Cheam Lake. Great find, Murray! A good bird for November. Was it a male or female and where about did you spot it? Well done.

Gord, Gary Kalyn and I just caught a glimpse of it on the ground on the loop trail not too far beyond the bridge area. Probably at the easternmost point of the trail. It was it's constant calling that caught our attention. It would be hard to describe it's plumage based on our brief look but I would say it was fairly drab. Probably a juvenile or female.

Thanks, Murray (and Gary!).
I might be around tomorrow and will keep my eyes/ears open.
