I took a morning walk in Cheam Wetlands. It was really quiet! There were 50+ Canada Geese, 3 Trumpeter Swans, a handful of Mallards, Wigeon, and Ring-Necked Duck, several Bufflehead, and this lonely shoveler. As far as land birds, the place was deserted! I did see a few Spotted Towhees, the odd Stellar's Jay, and a Belted Kingfisher, but that was about it. It was much busier back home at the bird feeder! -Dave
