Toured the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve on Friday with my UCFV biology class. Didn't have as much time to scan the lagoon for waterfowl as I would have liked, but did manage to spot 1 male redhead, a lifer for me.

Also, a sharp-shinned hawk and a northern harrier in the vicinity. It is amazing to think that at one time this site was a military base.
