We saw a Western Scrub Jay in the staff parking lot at the GBHNR this morning. By the time we got over seeing it, it flew into the willow across from the parking lot in the farmer's field that has the two horses in it. That is the field next to the parking lot for visitors.

Nice sighting guys!! If I have some time in the afternoon I might take some time to go look for it.
This species is sure expanding its range. It will be interesting to see if that trend continues.

I took a quick trip out there. Bumped into Joanne and Bruce and Gord on his lunch break. We didn't see it but it should be around the general vacinity.
