This past week has been interesting in my backyard. I live in a subdivision in Abbotsford, so it is an urban setting. I have been feeding birds here for about 5 years. In the last week, besides the regulars I have had a Pileated Woodpecker, 9 Evening Grosbeaks at one time, and yesterday a Northern Shrike. Lots of fun. Happy birding, John Vooys
