I had the pleasure of accompanying Len and Brian C to Blackies Spit near Crescent Beach in search of a Long-billed Curlew and Bar-tailed Godwill that were reported in the area. Some other birders failed to spot them but we had our 'lucky charm ' with us and pay-dirt!

I really like the one with the Curlew and the Godwit together. The Godwits are Marbled Godwits not Bar-tailed Godwits. They do look very similar though.
