Just a few shots from our outing to see the Hawk Owl today. The amount of "firepower" out there was almost embarrassing. The owl played chicken with the group of us shooting down from various perches and weaving through. At one point he hit the ground and came up with dinner. I banged off a few and didn't nail the focus, but still recorded him with his catch. It wasn't too busy there today and it nearly made me consider going back again... Ian

Ian, fantastic photos there. Great action shots. So hard to get and you did really good on it. Looks like a Townsend's vole in its talons there. Those big voles are certainly a favourite for the raptors.
