Apparently soon after the Sandhills parents gave the boot to their previous offspring, they commenced to make their new nest. It took only one day for two eggs to appear. In a previous post, Martin captured the first egg to appear. First image is of the proud male tending the eggs. Then female arrives back to relieve her mate. The male continues nest modifications. The objects of all their attention. We can't wait to photograph the two new born cranes. Please keep us posted when the big day arrives!
