An early walk in Cheam Wetlands this morning brought in the usual, plus a Horned Grebe. I also noticed an invasion of Winter Wrens. I stopped four times to look at individuals, but there were more in there!
This afternoon I went for a walk along the Vedder Trail. Beautiful afternoon in the sun, especially with a Green Heron around the Peach Road area, a nice flock of Pine Siskins, as well as the usual.

We saw a Green Heron flying over the water on the south side of Mill Lake last week. It was following a Belted Kingfisher that had passed a few minutes earlier with something in its mouth .
