Nesting where? They have been taking out flickers and robin in the Miami River Drive area of HHS. I report nests to BC Nest Record Scheme and would love to report this one. Thanks for your help. Janne Perrin Harrison Hot Springs

Janne, if you are unable to get the info from Trudi, I believe I have found a nest in your area. My guess is it would be the same two birds.
I would prefer to not post the location however.

Janne ...we wondered if they had got the Thrasher as they were very active back and forth. the nest is very high up.Very easy to watch where they go.Is there a reason not to post the location as i am sure it is not accessible by foot??(just going by Murray's post) Trudi

Hi Trudi, I'm not sure if it's still a problem but for several years the nest locations had to be kept a secret as some unscrupulous falconers would rob the nests. It didn't matter how high they were, they would get them. Just a precautionary measure. Maybe Janne can provide a current perspective. Thanks, Murray

I think I know where it is but if you email me privately I would appreciate confirmation. (djperrin@uniserve.com) Best not to post it. Thanks. Janne Perrin
