Today makes it 11 days since Murray first spotted the Sage Thrasher.

We saw it today at around 3.30. It's very easy to find - in the muddy bay to the west of the boat launch. Does it have a mate?

Mevl, it is by itself. Likely, it will move on soon as it is out of its regular range. In BC, they are found most regularly in the southern Okanagan. "Regularly", however, should be interpreted as pretty rare as that is the furthest north of the species' range and Im not even sure if they're spotted there annually. They like dryer habitats such as found in the Okanagan. There are a smattering of sightings around but very few. Murray's find is quite significant.
