I had a late lunch and watched the martin boxes at Nicomen. The most I saw at once was two birds feeding over the slough and the nearby field. Pretty quick one flew into box 06-14 and did not come out to the best of my knowledge (took my eye off for a few seconds to answer the phone and to hunt for a candy bar that fell down between the seats).
Evidence possibly of a female sitting on eggs? There is a couple pieces of straw sticking out of the hole. The bird that went in did not have any visible nest material in its beak so nest building must be over.
After that happened, I saw one bird flying around feeding for a minute or two, but it moved off. This happened about from 2:30 to 2:45.
