While driving around looking for garbage ;D this afternoon I came accross at least four Lazuli Buntings in a field off the Sumas river dyke. This is the first time I have seen these birds to my knowledge. Very cool looking birds! Nice work!! Always a great find this species in the Fraser Valley. This is the third area in the Chilliwack region that I know of this year that has lazuli buntings, and this is the highest number as well! Could they've been feeding young or were they all adults?
Oh, and great shot of him!!! ;D
