Hello birders,
I spent a couple of hours today birding Matsqui Trail Park in Abbotsford. I saw 37 species and had 3 new year birds.
Cedar Waxwings-all over the place Willow Flycatchers-10+ calling like crazy Green Heron-1 Wilson's Warblers-still everywhere-I think this is the best year I have every had for this species. Yellow Warblers-many Bullock's Orioles-3 Black-headed Grosbeaks-2 Vaux's Swifts-huge flocks
Couldn 't pull anything rare out, but still a nice day.
