This afternoon I was at the corner of Eldridge and Atkinson Roads to see if the Lazuli Buntings were back at that location this year. I didn't find any buntings (maybe a bit early yet), but there was a first year male Bullock's Oriole making a raucous racket in the big-leaf maples above the parking lot for the McKay Creek dog-walkers' trail.
