Today, Jack is reporting YELLOW HEADED BLACBIRD, and BULLOCK'S ORIOLE from his organic farm just off the perimeter road of the Hope airport. Also, his usual CLIFF SWALLOWS, which like the eaves of his large workshop to nest under. I told him we are all awaiting the return of the SCISSOR TAILED FLYCATCHER of a few years ago!! By the way, he appears to be keen about birders touring his farm, so if you are intersted, give him a call. His number is in the book. Thor

What a great opportunity for birders to bird a great birdy looking private property and to also demonstrate responsibilty and respect. I may give him a ring next time Im in the area for permission and also find out if there's areas he doesnt want me stepping on and other things to watch out for.
