No show all day for the ACWP. There was a Cooper's Hawk in the tall Cottonwood overlooking the nut orchard, so that may have been a factor. Sightings at Matsqui Park included Brown Creepers, Bewick"s Wrens, 1 Downey Woodpecker, Varied Thrush, Great Blue Heron, Golden Crowned Kinglets, Black-capped Chickadees, Stellar's Jay and of course that Cooper's Hawk. I might also add that the cafe across from Matsqui Park is excellent!

I need to amend the above. Apparently John Vooys sighted the ACWP at 10:00 am just before the rest of us arrived and spent the rest of the day looking for him. Dang that bird! Lunch was still great!
