Hello birders, with the unsettled weather I headed out at 6 am today to see what I could find. At Matsqui Trail Regional Park, Wilson's Warblers were everywhere. Mixed in with them were a few Orange-crowned, a dozen Yellow-rumped, many Common Yellowthroats, and one Yellow Warbler. Over the east side of the park, a huge flock of Vaux's Swifts were seen.
At Wilband Creek Park last night, the Greater White-fronted Goose and Eurasian Wigeon were still present. Four Blue-winged Teal, two Spotted Sandpipers and many Least Sandpipers were also there.
Good birding, Brent Schmor Abbotsford
