There has been a young green heron hanging out at Salish Pond next to the Chilliwack Library last few days. It is enjoying the easy meals from the goldfish.
This species can be somewhat unreliable even at places where Id be almost willing to say they are reliable (Cheam Lake) but last two days, it has been there often out in the middle on the big contraption near the fountain.
