Thanks for all your reports. It is great to be able to learn something from you experts, as I really have not much of an idea what is a rare bird in our area. I bought a new camera ( a Panasonic FZ-30) a while ago, and it's working fine so far. I saw a Townsend Solitaire on Saturday while out walking the Vedder Trail: Also saw a Turkey Vulture a short while ago chowing down on something I'd rather keep my distance from Thanks for all the reports! Cheers, George
