hello birders
there were 3 greater yellowlegs along chilliwack central between prest and broadway, in a flooded field south of chilliwack central. yesterday, denis knopp had 3 wilson's snipe here but on the north side of chilliwack central. a good place to pull off the road is on the south side of chilliwack central just past the small bridge. these fields for the past few years has been a good spot for seeing various shorebird species. i drive by it everyday on my way to the shop so i will keep you all posted . also, there were at least 12 yellow-rumped warblers this moring in my yard. thanks very much for the 'congratulations' posting from stan and gord.
