This little one has been coming by lately, and mainly eats the spilled seeds on the deck. I love the mask on the face!

This I a very interesting sighting. Could please I possibly find out the location so that a couple of keen birders could visit the site and observe the bird. Would you please advise me at jensen55@telus.net.
Thank you

Awesome! Great photo! Lark Sparrows are found in the Okanagan in June and July if you can't see this one.

Again, nice bird Lucy. Thanks for sharing.
I encourage people to ask permission if they wish to view this bird such as Dale did. Likewise, I equally encourage private property owners to feel perfectly comfortable declining any visitors or to not feel obligated. We will understand fully and be most satisfied to see photos and hear how long it sticks around.

Wow, second sighting! Nice job Lucy and thanks for sharing. Their mask is awesome. The way this guy is looking it looks like he has some attitude!

Fantastic. I just spent 4 days around Osoyoos with the Lark Sp as one of my target birds. Managed to find 3 but with many hours of looking.
Well done.

Thanks everyone! I love having all the different birds come to the feeders (even though they make a MESS and spill more then they eat!) but normally don't notice different birds as the feeders are always covered in goldfinches and grosbeaks. This little one just stood out, on the fence and finally came over to eat off the ground under the feeder. I have been away for a few weeks, so I'll keep my eye out and let you know if he is in the area still. These pictures were taken the 30th of June and 1st of July.

Just an update as of today I have not seen this little one around the feeder. I will let you know if I see it again (and it proves to me to take picture of all the little birds there)
