Hi Just returned from a few weeks in Alberta. Joined the Edmonton naturalist club for a bird count in Brooks and birded Winston Churchill Park in Lac La Biche. Tenessee and Bay-breasted Warblers were the highlight of the trip although we saw many species we don't usually get here. Lots of Horned Grebes and others nesting on the sloughs. Saw lots of Chestnut Collared Longspurs but I see you had one at Hope?? Nice find.

Sharp image! Wow! Any shots of the longspurs? Did you see McCown's as well?

We didn't manage any shots of the Longspurs as the wind was wicked this year. We heard McCowans but didn't see any.
