Hi fellow birders. l checked out my favourite sparrow spot this morning. It is at the corner of Gray and Dyke Road in north-east Abbotsford. It has a swampy and wooded area where a local farmer dumps sawdust and manure out of his horse barn. This attracts the sparrows. This morning I had juncos, towhees, siskins, song and fox and golden-crowned and a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW, #154. Good birding everyone, John Vooys, Abbotsford.

Good find John! John alerted me to the White-throated Sparrow around noon today. I was able to get out there at about 2pm. Lots of Juncos and WC and GC Sparrows with an occasional Song Sparrow. Thirty minutes after arriving the White-throated Sparrow was seen. Thanks John. A life bird for me!

You really have a great list. That White-throated Sparrow is a nice addition to the list.
